Well as it happens they actually weren't parakeets they were love birds and they were blue. One actually didn't eat the other that is just what my memory thought. The one that died broke its neck flying into the edge of the cage. We then gave away the leftover dinner and it escaped from its new owner and we don't know the truth to what happened to that one.
Their cage was next to the front window. The neighborhood cats would stalk by the window and see the birds so therefore we named them Dinner and Lunch.
Dang. So they weren't cannibals? They would've been my dinner and lunch!
ReplyDeleteYeah, they werem't sorry my mom read the story and told me what actually happened. I liked the cannibals idea better but sometimes the truth just has to come out.
ReplyDeletetoo bad.
ReplyDeleteOh well!!!
ReplyDeleteSo it's like the first story was the fantasy version, and this one was the truth. Nice! This one does seem a bit more realistic. Although I liked the cannibal idea better, because it was just really funny.
ReplyDeleteI know right??!!
ReplyDeleteI really liked the first version better.. it was a lot funnier this one seems kind of sad:(
