Jourmal Entry Expansion: Dinner and Lunch or Was it Lunch and Dinner

A really long time ago, well eight years ago my family had two birds. They happened to be parakeets. They're names were Dinner and Lunch. Don't ask why because I don't have any clue as to the origin of the names. My parents had them named before I could speak logically. Both of the birds looked practically identical so you could never figure out which was which. We would let them out of their cage and they would fly aroud our house making it seem like a tropical rain forest. One day when I was about three and a half Dinner decided to eat Lunch or was it Lunch decided to eat Dinner. Talk about cannibalism! All that I know for sure is that my mom then disposed of the parakeet that we had left. To this day I still don't remember what exactly happened to the other bird who was not eaten.
